“Dine Newport Beach” Says…

“The Freedom Ride Project is a non-profit organization which aims to end human trafficking by building awareness, catalyzing action and delivering measurable impact. There keystone event, The Freedom Ride 2016, is a 15-day, 20-person (extreme athletes) bicycling event, stretching 1,500 miles starting in Bend, Oregon, and traveling to Newport Beach, from September 10 to 25.  There mission is to raise awareness and funds for the hidden victims of human trafficking, and to move people to action in their own communities.  It includes four awareness and mobilization events along the route:  Bend (OR), Oakridge (OR), San Francisco (CA) and a large Freedom Family Event at the Newport Dunes in Newport Beach (CA).  This final “end-of-ride” celebration will be a family-fun event with food, bands, activities, speakers, and partner non-profits who are in the fight to end human trafficking.

They want to invite local food businesses/restaurants to participate and provide their unique food items at a booth.  Food donations will be in exchange for participation and advertisement on their fliers, vans, and clothing (which they are highlighting all along the 1500 mile trek).”
